Financial assistance from the district’s own funds to patients suffering from heart disease , cancer and kidney diseases .

Information about the nature of the scheme

Under this scheme, beneficiaries in rural areas get financial assistance as follows .

1. For heart surgery :- Rs . Rs . 15000 /-
2. For cancer treatment :- Rs . Rs . 15000 /-
3. For kidney transplantation : – Rs . Rs . 15000 /- To provide the benefit of this scheme, the following committee has been formed at the Z.P. level
   Financial Assistance Committee for Heart Disease , Cancer , Kidney , Z.P. Beed .

• Hon . Chief Accounts and Finance Officer , Dist . W. seed – Member

Who is the beneficiary

Persons suffering from heart disease , cancer or kidney diseases .

Criteria and conditions

• The patient should be from the rural area of Beed district .
• Patients will have to undergo treatment / surgery in a government or government-approved hospital .
• Employee patients who receive medical reimbursement will not be eligible for benefits under this scheme .
• Documents to be attached with the application : – Hon . District Health Officer, District . Beed Names of Beneficiary Application
• Government or government-approved hospital
• Cost estimate , including diagnosis .
• Resident certificate ( from Talathi )
• Certified photocopy of the first and last pages of the ration card .
• Income certificate ( from Tehsildar )
