    Work Division No.1

    Department Introduction

    Work Division No.1 of Beed Zilla Parishad is a very important department in terms of development work. Under this department, construction of new roads, maintenance of roads, construction of schools, government buildings and residences, training buildings, community buildings, temples, public libraries, multipurpose halls, primary health centers, buildings and residences, etc. are included in the construction of buildings under the grants provided by the Central Government, State Government and Zilla Parishad.

    Vision and Mission of the Department.

    Taking into account the representations received from time to time regarding unplanned roads, a plan is prepared for the repair and improvement of rural roads and buildings owned by the ZP and subject to the ZP budgetary provisions. As per the available funds under the provision head, the works in the plan are submitted for administrative approval after taking the approval of the ZP Subject Committee.

    Objectives and tasks

    1. District Annual Plan Account Head -3054-2221 Under the District Annual Plan, the access road from the Ejima road to the rural areas is asphalted, graveled, repaired, as well as the construction and repair of bridges and the work of Ejima roads and rural roads is done under the Z.P., which benefits the people of the rural areas.

    2. Under the Pilgrimage Development Program, under the account head 3604-064, construction of devotee accommodation, toilet, installation of cement concrete and paver block road to the temple, installation of small culvert bridge, high mast, construction of protective wall, construction of drinking water tank, pipe fitting, and other activities are being implemented for the convenience of devotees.

    3. Under the Account Head 3054-2419 Group B and C Scheme, road asphalt and gravel repairs are done. The works of this scheme are approved at the government level. Road repairs make it easier for the public to move around. Bridge repairs and other works are done under this scheme. These roads are constructed on Ijima and rural roads.
    4. Account Head 2515-1238 The basic facilities suggested by the Hon’ble Lok Pratinidhi are being implemented in the villages in rural areas. The work of this scheme is approved by the government level and then further action is taken at the district level. Under this scheme, cement roads/drain construction and basic facilities are being done in the villages, which benefits the people of rural areas.
    5. Health Department Works – The Health Department provides administrative approval for the planning of primary health centers/construction repairs. The Construction Department fully assumes the responsibility of completing the approved work.
    6. Education Department – Administrative approval is given to the construction and repair work of primary and secondary school buildings through the Education Department, and the Construction Department fully assumes the responsibility of completing the approved work.
    7. Animal Husbandry- The veterinary clinics approved by the department are given administrative approval. And the Construction Department is fully responsible for completing the approved work.
    8. The works recommended by the Hon. MLA and Hon. MP are given administrative approval by the District Planning Officer and the Construction Department fully discharges the responsibility of completing the approved work.
    9. Mountain Development Program – The works recommended by the Hon’ble MLA are given administrative approval by the District Planning Officer and the Construction Department fully discharges the responsibility of completing the approved works.
    10. Balasaheb Thackeray Matoshree Smriti Gram Panchayat Office Construction – Proposals for administrative approval of the said works are submitted by the Gram Panchayat to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer Panchayat and after receiving administrative approval, the responsibility of completing the approved work is completed through the Group Development Officer Panchayat Samiti.
    11. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Development Scheme – Works approved as per the recommendations of the Member. Administrative approval for the said works is provided by the Social Welfare Department and the Construction Department fully discharges the responsibility of completing the approved work.
